Common Client Issues
Problem: If your Behemoth Reloaded game fails to open after installation or becomes stuck when you click "Start" on the launcher.
Solution: - Right-click on your Behemoth Reloaded game, then select "Properties." - Next, click on "Open file location." - In your Behemoth Reloaded file folder, locate the "Open setup application." - On the "Graphics" tab, under "Graphics device," click on the drop-down menu and select the 3rd or 4th option. - Click "Apply." If you receive an error message, ignore it and click "OK." - Relaunch your game.

Problem: Antivirus flags bRE.exe and Behemoth Reloaded.exe as insecure software or virus
Solution: - Ensure your antivirus is updated. - Add game client folder, bRE.exe, and Behemoth Reloaded.exe to antivirus exceptions.
Problem: Gepard Shield stuck on loading screen with no error messages
Solution: - Run Setup.exe from the Behemoth Reloaded folder and try these options: - Adjust Resolution and Graphic Device. - Uncheck Play in Full Screen. - Disable sound. - Select "Delete all Ragnarok-related settings (factory reset)".
Problem: Gepard Shield error about illegal software
Solution: - Some mouse and keyboard software may trigger this error. Close any such software before launching the game.
Problem: Gepard can't validate license on the server
Solution: - Check your internet connection. - Add game client folder, bRE.exe, and Behemoth Reloaded.exe to antivirus and firewall exceptions.
Problem: Low FPS or freezes on Windows 10/11 with Nvidia graphics
Solution: - Open Nvidia Control Panel and adjust 3D settings for bRE.exe: - Set Max Frame Rate to 60 FPS. - Set Monitor Technology to Fixed Refresh. - Set Preferred Refresh Rate to Application-controlled. - Set Vertical Sync to Use the 3D-application setting. - Update Nvidia drivers if these options are not available.
Problem: Cannot init d3d OR grf file has problem
Solution: 1. Right-click on Setup.exe and select "Run as Administrator". 2. Change Graphics API from DirectX9 to DirectX7 in settings and save changes. 3. Start Patcher.exe after making changes.
General Tips:
Solution: - Always run bRE.exe, Setup.exe, or Behemoth Reloaded.exe as an administrator. - Set Compatibility mode to Windows 7 or Windows XP Service Pack 3 for bRE.exe. - Install the game outside of Program Files, e.g., C:\Games\. - Disable antivirus and firewall temporarily, especially Avast and McAfee. - Uninstall Warsaw (banking software) if encountering issues.
